The band name began as a joke about how death rate in Utah was, at one time, higher than any other state.

Everyone Dies In Utah is an American metal band from Temple, TX. Formed by vocalist Danny Martinez and guitarist Dustin Dow, Everyone Dies In Utah carries the tradition of poppy, energetic metalcore into a new era with smart layering of musical modalities, clever composition, and raw, inimitable authenticity.

EDIU’s style is defined by their uniquely energetic stage presence and bold approach in their musical stylings. Their repertoire explores an array of both light and heavy topics including love, hate, epic get-togethers, self-destruction, cosmic happenings, demonic possession, perfectionism, and supporting loved ones through mental illness.

With audience relations at the forefront of their priorities, Everyone Dies in Utah takes pride in their accessibility to their fans and can often be found touring extensively across America to forge, deepen, and nurture their connection with their audience. On tour, they’ve shared the stage with well-known namesakes like Memphis May Fire, The  Color Morale, Affiance, Sirens and Sailors, Alesana, and Suicide Silence.

2018 marks the group’s 10th anniversary and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Adding upon their repertoire of four full-length albums, an EP, and five single releases, EDIU released two new singles this year, “Planetary” and “Passenger//Pt.2”, have signed with ONErpm, and have new music currently in the works.
